Success Story

Story #1 - Little Brother Ben, age 9, has been matched with his Big Brother Ray since January 2011. Ben is an only child and lives with his disabled mother. Ben & Ray get along very well and clicked from the first moment they met. They play paper airplanes and look at pictures each week that Ray brings from his many acre farm he owns. Each week they discuss the wildlife they see on these pictures and Ben seems to really look forward to his time with Ray. Ray has also said what a joy Ben is to be around and he looks forward to seeing him each and every week.

Story #2 - Little Brother Jack, age 10, has been matched with Big Brother Matt since February 2009. Jack likes to talk to Matt about his home life and what is going on in school. Jack and Matt have been matched in our After School mentoring program since BB Matt was a sophomore. They get along very well and always look forward to seeing each other. Jack's behavior towards school and his peers has improved since starting our program. His teacher says that he really looks forward to Wednesday's because he knows he has Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring after school.
